Really good game last week.

LMP openlimps, the next guy is Asian and he raises. Folds to me in the BB and I have QQ.

LMP seems pretty good, has not been out of line yet. My read on the Asian dude is non-existant.

I 3bet and they both call, tho I briefly considered flatcalling and then pulling a c/r on the flop.

Flop is 997r. I bet, LMP raises and the Asian coldcalls. I call.

Turn is another 9. I check, LMP bets, Asian dude calls, I raise. LMP 3bets and Asian dude 4 bets.

Thoughts?

Asian dude has 77....

LMP...is it possible he limped with A9? Otherwise...TT or JJ.

just a little off topic here, why would u describe the guy as a "asian" guy?? if it was a white guy, would u say the "white" guy 4 betted? what does him being asian or white or black have anything to do with the hand?? nothing against you but just to know why u describe him as "asian" guy and dont mention anything about the other guy as a "white" guy (im sure he is white)

Because it's normal for people to differentiate between people based on physical markers, and in a Southern card room, being asian is one hell of a marker. It's the easiest way.

As for the hand, why would asian dude call-cap 77 after he got counterfeited?

alright, I'll play the role of Captain Obvious.

I'm out of this one. it's extremely likely that at least one of them has you. you're not getting odds to peel, and a call down could be expensive.

He has a 9. Also, he is clearly an Asian.

The chance of one of them having a 9, AA, or KK is more than high enough to warrant folding.

What is the ethnicity of the turn 4better? This is very important.

The really important question is: were any of them gay?

haha, as an asian, I love this post. As an Asian who plays regularly at the Borgata, I love it even more. In tyler's defense, mentioning someone in the hand as being Asian is relevant information since 80% of the Asians who play $20/$40 and $40/$80 are loose aggressive morons. Man, I hope this Asian guy wasn't me on one of my drunken days....

When it was 3bet and 4bet before it got back to me on the turn, I decided to fold. The river bricked and they checked and I nearly had a Hellmuthian attack. Then LMP showed AA for the win and I calmed down. The Asian guy claimed to have KK.

This is right on. Sorry if I offended anyone or an entire ethnic group. But it's true, most Asians are LAGs and love to gamble w/ poor hands w/ no respect to position.

Now is you said "is Asian and he's raisin'" that would've been better. Almost rhythmic.
