Is this an old joke, or an incredible piece of wit?

I recieved an email earlier this week about a conversation that took place between a dealer and a well known English fish in a casino near my home.

If it was spontaneous, it was one of the funniest things Ive ever heard about, so I suspect it was copied from somewhere, however I haven't heard it before, so could someone enlighten me.

Fish: You are the worst dealer on the planet
Dealer: I'm afraid that is impossible
Fish: Why?
Dealer: It would be too much of a coincidence.

That is taken from an old golf joke. An American goes to Scotland to play the Old Course. After several terrible holes the golfer yells at his caddie. "You are the the worst caddie in the whole world!" The Caddie replies: Sir, that would be too much of a coincidence. BTW...congrats on the ZOO Championship!!!!
