The other thread got me going:
What’s the best stunt for a film that was actually done by a living person with no enhancements, no CGI, no animation enhancements?
I’ll start with 3
The Ski/Base jump from the opening of The Spy Who Loved Me.
The car jump with a full twist in Man With the Golden Gun (Yes it’s real)
The rocket car jump in Hooper.

Hooper! I remember seeing that in the theater. What an awful movie. I'd watch it again. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think Jackie Chan deserves some kind of lifetime achievement award for all of the sick stuff he's done in his films over the years.

Back on topic, I seem to recall somebody doing like a 50 story freefall backwards out of a window in "Sharky's Machine". That was mighty impressive.

This competition should be for 2nd place behind anything Jackie Chan has done. The outtakes at the end of his movies pwn.

The sliding under the car thing in Ong-Bak or whatever its called is pretty cool.

the acrobatics in Ong-Bak are impressive. Different than what Jackie Chan does, and more gymnastic it seems, but still pretty impressive to me.

Definitely the rocket car jump in Hooper.
Sonny Hooper: "I'm gonna find the guy that invented Xylocaine and kiss his ass on Hollywood and Vine."
Jocko Doyle: "You oughta drink more. Nothing hurts when you are numb."
I like the first lesbo scene between Laura Herring and Naomi Watts in Mulholland drive.

Buster Keaton. Don't know the name of the movie, but it's a pretty famous scene: Keaton is standing in front of a house and the entire front wall falls on top of him. Instead of getting smacked flat, he is saved because he is standing exactly where a small window is. Very cool.

The stunts in Ong-Bak were better than most of Jackie Chan's.
