Actually, the futures usually restart trading at 7pm ET on sunday night.

NEW YORK, N.Y., September 22, 2005 — The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., announced today that it will change the trading hours on Sunday, September 25 only for NYMEX ACCESS® electronic trading, NYMEX ClearPort® electronic trading and clearing, and NYMEX miNYsm futures contracts traded on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange GLOBEX® trading system.

Energy contracts will begin trading on NYMEX ACCESS® at 10 AM Eastern time (with a market pre–open at 9:40 AM) on Sunday and will continue until Monday at 9:30 AM, the end of regular overnight trading for these products.

NYMEX ClearPort® trading and clearing for all products will commence at 10 AM Eastern time (with a market pre–open at 9:40 AM) on Sunday and continue through to its regular trading hours.

NYMEX miNYsm crude oil and natural gas futures contracts will begin trading at 5 PM Eastern time on Sunday and will continue until Monday at 9:30 AM, the end of regular overnight trading for these products.
