Searched, but uh yea, no dice.

What's a sustainable winrate for a good but kind of nut-peddly PLO 25$/50$ player?

Thanks

I assume that's $0.25/$0.50, but 10-15BB/100 should be sustainable, depending on the site.

I will never remeber this but enligthen me anyway: BB in this case is it bigblinds or bigbets?

That's actually a good question, and I think it should be in the FAQ. Everytime winrates are discussed it seems like some people use big blinds and some use PTO-style big bets. (Apologies if I highjacked the thread).

I'm assuming you mean $25 or $50 PLO games instead of .25/.5.

So, after playing for about a week or 6,527 hands so far at the Party $25 I'm at 13.24PTBB/100 after starting at 21PTBB/100 after 3,500 hands /images/graemlins/frown.gif.

I've played some $50 as well(393 hands) and have a 57.37PTBB/100, I'm not sure if that's sustainable but we'll see. I may skip over that to the $100 since the $50 full tables don't seem to run often.

Gotta edit here:
Before my hiatus from PLO earlier this year my stats from Stars $25 PLO are 9,369 hands and 12.25PTBB/100 and at the $50 it was 678 hands and 43.82PTBB/100.

After looking at this maybe I should play the $50 games.

a pokertracker BB, which is what people usually mean when they reference win-rates, is 2 x the big blind. So 12ptb/100 at .5/1 is $24 per 100 hands.

I'd be happy with 10ptb/100 at anything above .5/1. A lowerlimits i think upwards of 15 could be sustainable. Its all speculation since it probably takes a few million hands to even get close to the "long run."

I'm at about 13PTBB/100 through about 8k hands at Party $25 tables.
I was running at about 50-60PTBB/100 for a while but that soon calmed down. I'll be happy with 10-15 for the moment.

Holy crap. Those are crazy winrates...

I just got into O/8 limit since I heard it offered a decent player a higer winrate (4-5BB/100) over hold em...

How do you people maintain such high winrates at PLO? Do you guys just sit back and nut peddle to get that sort of winrate? Dang, I should get into PLO right away I guess.

You have to keep in mind that in big bet poker the blinds are going to be substantially lower in relation to your BR. So someone is beating PLO100 with a $1bb for 10ptb/100 is making $20 per one hundred hands (and should have a minimum bankroll of $3k but probably much higher if they want to keep their ROR reasonably low). if they are four-tabling full-ring they might play 300 hands an hour if they are lucky but probably much less. Someone who is four-tabling 3/6 6max LHE at 2.5bb/100 and seeing 450 hands an hour is making about the same hourly rate; but when you figure in rakeback they'll blow it out of the water (four tabling 3/6 6max you figure to make about $18hr just in rakeback). So the figures are a little deceiving.
