The previous orbit I opened on the button for 300 with A8s, Villain folded, and I got it all-in with a short stack in the big blind. Other than that I've been folding in LP.

Villain thought for a looooong time before calling preflop.

On the flop I checked and Villain thought for a while again before betting 400.

I ran my clock down and folded.

I would move allin on the flop.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'd push here. It's a pretty good sized pot to take down and I don't really want to give free cards as no broadway card makes me particularly happy. You seem to be afraid of a bigger pair, but you even have 6 outs against that, and I think he can be making that bet with a lot more than a bigger pair, preflop stall or no. If I checked, I'm going to c/r all-in after that bet.

I either push the flop or check raise all in here. If villian has a bigger pair he calls and you go broke. But he probabrly has overcards, or a smaller pair otherwise wouldn't he have pushed preflop.

Hey man, it takes time to see into a man's soul. Almost as much time as it takes to wimp out.

That's what you get for not playing with the Oakley wraparounds on.

I don't think he's got it. If it was a queen, king, or ace, I'd be inclined to fold, but not on this board. Curtainz line might work, but I also like the check-call/raise line here. You need to get value out of overs.

Just winning the money in the pot after the preflop action makes you the chipleader. This is a pretty appreciable amount in there as is. I wouldn't be too worried about extracting that much more value, though c/r'ing the flop is okay with me. I'd rather not check and have KQ check behind, though. I also think that pushing will be called slightly more often than one might suspect, given these stack sizes.

I would never consider trying to get value in this huge pot with 5 players left, two of them whom are short. I want to end this pot immediately and have the chips in the middle join my stack.
