I've played the 2/4 there before, but was thinking about playing the 5/10 this weekend. What should I expect?

Allow me to spoof the other posters on this board:

"The 6-12 at the Borg is soft as a feather pillow. 8-9 to the flop is common with 5-6 people cold calling raises with Q3o. Once a guy capped a 5-way pot on the river with jack high, and won! Nevertheless, Played 10 hands during a six hour session and finished up 1.25 bb."

This all sounds quite ordinary.

I have to agree with everyone here. The 6/12 is a beatable game. I played it for the first time on Monday and couldn't believe how good it was. I can only imagine the game on the weekends.

Just played the 6/12 last night (thursday), and it was hugely soft.

If you can beat the online 2/4 you can definitely beat the 6/12.

Joshua - were you at my table last night? Table closest to the cage. I was the donk in the 10 seat rasing K-7 from EP for no reason.

I was in the 9 seat next to wilson. Were you the guy sitting to the left of "Shakes"? (you know who I mean)

If so, please don't try to steal my blinds anymore. That was definitely my first ever check-raise with 7-4 offsuit. And thanks for folding, by the way.

how is borgata's 10/20 vs 6/12? i'm about ready to take a shot. i played 6/12 for 4 days straight a few weeks ago and it was. a blast.

I wish folks would just use their common sense. At a higher limit, there will be some more better players. But it is not as if you're going from all rank amateurs to all sharks. If you're beating 6-12 and are willing to lose $1000 in a bad session, then you can take a shot at 10-20.

The 6/12 at the Borgata can be so loose that you might want to move up to 10/20, atleast there you can make more.

So true. You just can't make money when people playing 74 outdraw your Aces.
