View Full Version : Bankroll size for NL .50/1 Hold'em

If someone could comment on how big my bankroll should be for the .50/1 NL Hold'em rooms on UB for 9 or 10 people it would be much appreciated. In addition, if I am able to make money in these rooms consistently how much should I be putting away a week for the "off" month or week that is bound to happen? Any comments and thoughts would be appreciated.

I beleive the general rule is 100 buy ins. Therefore 500$

A 100 Buyins would be $10K...

A 100 Big Bets...Is the maximum you can sit with....

If you are a winning player then $1,000-$1,500 should be fine. Conventioanl wisdom on this board would be 20 buy-ins or $2k, which I what I would recommend unless you have been crushing the lower limits for 50k+ hands.

And I thought I was being too conservative with my 50 buy-ins. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
