My roll has taken quite a thrasing this week playing NL cash games, so I'm grinding it out in greener pastures. My limit game is a little bit rusty, and while I'm confident that I can beat these games fairly easily, I'm still shaky in some spots. Is this a standard 3 bet on the river?

If you're winning 33% of the time, how is raising for value?

That's what I'm wondering. Either I'm misunderstanding something, or he thought the 3rd guy was tagging along, which he isn't. Should be &gt;50%, si?

Either way I 3-bet it. If he has a set, so be it, but I think he's raising a worse 2pair alot here.

Actually it's 66% of the time, because if you 3-bet and he calls you win 1 bet but if he caps and you can't let it go (which I don't think you can), you lose 2.
