Yeah I'd call. However I'd have pushed back on the flop.

yes.

oh, thought process?

people are idiots. he could have flush draw. KQ. many other hands that are pummeled by your monster. why wouldn't i call.

Push the flop.

You have top pair with the top kicker. You have alot of his raising hands killed right now. If he turns over a set or a two pair then so be it. there was nothing you could do.

A flush draw is present which also gives you a reason to either chase it away (not let your opponent have the correct odds to call), or have him make a mistake by calling without odds.

Since you didnt push the flop, please call the turn. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

OK. So I called and he flipped KQ, I won the hand. My cooler has been too much for me, I can't to this anymore. I called almost knowing that he was going to show a set or hit some miracle stupid card on the river.

Interesting hand and I can empathize with hesitation -- scare card on the turn and the push to go with it. Though, when you walk back through the betting sequence the story doesn't seem to add up. The reraise on the flop seems out of character for a flush draw (or straight draw for that matter -- and please feel free to disabuse me of this notion). kyro picked up on the KQ possibility right away and Qx does fit the bill. Flipping the problem 180 what hands would the villian put you on? Again, he'd have to put you on Qx too -- and your pot sized bet discouraging action looks like a weaker kicker than you really have. I'm curious as to the recommendations for the push vs the pot sized bet.
