Just read today's post.

One comment: Why have a goal of making $1000 or having a 15% ROI for the rest of the month. Those things are simply not in your control. You can play perfect poker and still only have a 10% ROI or 0% ROI for the next 200 games.

Only 2 goals you can/should have are :1. # of games to play

2. To play your best.

ROI goals are stupid.

ok, it's extremely gay, but my brothers and my self-proclaimed "nickel-dime poker champ of Lely Condos Phase II, Naples FL" father...wanted a way to keep tabs on me. i have no idea what exactly i plan to do with it, but i had a webhosting account going unused...

I see your point. It's not like if I hit 20% ROI i'm going to stop playing or play worse to match the percentage. My goal will be 300 tourneys by the end of the month.

A little harsh in your advice but I very much appreciate it.

Can't hurt if trying to earn money makes you earn more. I agree that ideally these little psychological games shouldn't be necessary, but for many players they are.

Didn't mean to be harsh, just offering a suggestion for the future.
