I would have pushed that flop. As played, this is a tough call. Its very read dependent IMO. I would probably call given your description of the villain.

At this level this is very often a higher flush...

You've played with this villan more so you might have a read otherwise... ever see him pull this stunt with two pair or a set?

Reason people often do this is to stack the smaller flushes, it's too obvious when they bet out, you raise and and they come over the top...

By pushing the turn he stacks the smaller flush, he's not getting a whole lot more unless someone has a small flush so might as well take a stab and try to stack them. There is enough players that will fall for this move to make it profitable at 2/4.

I just don't see many villans bluffing like this at 2/4 or making this play with two pair or a set...

Instacall. If you get flush over flushed to this idiot, fine. But you can't fold here. His hand range is huge and you are way ahead of it.

On the flop raise to $175 or $200 as long as you get the rest in on the turn...calling here is bad bad bad.

Since you just called, easy turn call now. If you are behind, reload and remember what villain's overbet means (make notes).

Calling is better than this line.
