Fall has football, baseball playoffs, and basketball and hockey starting. It is also finally cool enough to sleep at night with blankets, and drink hot coffee instead of iced coffee. Summer is nice, but I love me some autumn.

where? in hawaii, where I grew up, I prefer summer because of the hot tourist chicks that hit town and because the fall is hurricane season. in norcal where I live now, i prefer the fall because of the striped bass runs.

When I lived in SoCal summer in DC/NOVA Fall. Regardless winter is the worst season in both places and spring is the second best in both places.

At school during autumn but not in the summer.

Tough one. Both fall and summer are awesome for different reasons.

I'll vote other and say I hate winter. Except I don't. The only one I really don't like I guess is Spring. Except [censored] starts growing again in the spring.

Ah screw it, I'm gonna go get a beer.

NYCs air quality goes from "toxic" to merely "hazardous" in the fall.

Fall is more comfortable (in New England anway), as well as one step closer to snowboarding weather.

I'm a big rainy season fan, but slightly prefer rainy with multicolored leaves on the trees to rainy and no leaves on the trees.

Jesus, how is fall winning??? I guess none of you live in southern ca otherwise it is summer and not even close.

Agreed football and baseball playoffs make fall great, but as far as weather and overall happiness of seeing semi-nude chicks all day - summer wins hands down.

I thought that Hawaii's big tourist season is the winter. At least, prices are more expensive then, etc.

Sackup,

Your observation that most people do not live in Southern California was amazing. I would never have guessed that.

Fall and summer are about even for me. Winter > summer by a large margin for me though.

Yeah. It's not 110+ in the fall.

In Vegas, October is easily the best month of the year weather-wise.

Summer = longer days = more golf.

Living on the exterme western edge of a time zone (West Michigan), in the middle of summer it doesn't get dark out until just before 10PM.

Colorado is just amazingly beautiful in Autumn, unfortunately it gets pretty cold.
Summers are nice and warm but not as breathtaking.
Tough call.

The city doesnt stink as much in the fall, and I don't sweat as much.
