I'm pretty sure a bunch of people know what i'm talking about, but ti would only be people from LA who have driven to Vegas.

What's the deal with this road?

My dad uses the way it's pronounced (ZEE-ZICKS) to relate to tits, but otherwise i'm very confused.

I just thought I'd post and see what other people had to say on the matter.

And if that doesn't go anywhere, if you could name a street in the middle of the desert that presumably would only lead to your house, what would you call it?

Zzyzx Rd. is my favorite road. I always anticipated it on the drive (one I've made MANY times), and I'd often call somebody back home in WA to tell them "I'm passing the Zzyzx Rd. exit." Some didn't believe me that it is real.

Oh yeah, and I've always pronounced it ZIH-ZICKS.

Just five minutes until Bun Boy, and the worlds largest thermomator! We use Zzyzx as the last point to which you can make your wager as to the temperature on the thermomator. I have been down $200 before ever crossing into Nevada over that stupid thermomator at Bun Boy.

I've always pronounced it "ZIZ-icks".

Mmmmm...Veeeeeegas.

Discovering the "northern" route to the 15 (the 210 rather than the 10) made me very happy. San Dimas high school football RULES.

They used to (or still do?) have a run at Snow Summit called Zzyzx

I always just called it Z-Z-Y-Z-X
