I'm getting kind of short and blinds are moving up in the next 2 or 3 hands. If the BB had a normal stack I'd push fairly confidently but I really don't want a call and I really don't want people seeing my pushing standards this early.

The BB lost legitimately so he's not a complete donk as far as I know. Do you still push here?

Unless they are real tight then I fold that. It's 7 bbs. U could push because they would be hurt if they called and lost and they know that but I think you are better off folding.

On the other hand if you swallow the blinds this comming time and still don't get anything you are (IMO) real real likely to get called if you push the BB next time.

Something is off with how your hand convereted. Its showing that the BB has 1800+ chips at t150.

God damn it, I thought it worked this time. Well, pretend BB has 340 chips.

If it's 340, then fold; if 1800, I would push.

Ohh wait you are small blind, yeah push that.

At t340, the BB will most likely call your raise w/ any A, K or suited Broadway card. Not only will you get called w/ legit hands, you'll get called with bad hands that will actually be ahead pre-flop. Just calling and then calling his all-in raise won't work because he will do that with the exact same hands. I think this is a hard fold.

It's not like your hand is complete garbage, you know. And the blinds will be coming again for you soon as well.

Am I missing something? Okay, he's short and might call. Still seems to be an auto push to me.

I also think that people tend to overestimate the % of the time that BB will call with complete junk. It's not like you have zero FE here, even with BB so low.

do you want to get called by 54o? this is not rhetorical.

regardless, i think it's a push. if villain calls everything you're in ok shape and you lose very little (if you lose at all) from his folding his junk hands. also, he may fold somethings like J3 that you'd love him to fold.

Of course not, but I'm also not folding T9s just because he's short. It's not like we have the luxury of waiting around all day either.

Believe me, I know the dilemma here: He is short enough that we're afraid that he'll loosen up his calling standards greatly, but he still has enough chips that he can hurt us. I get it. But I'm also not going to fold a better than average hand here. There is also the possibility that everyone seems to overlook that he calls and we win the hand.
