Lead the flop or go for a check raise here? What do you make of the bet, call, raise?

Raise. T300 in the pot... I guess I push.

Calling on this board absolutely sucks.

Do you lead the flop or check raise?

I would go over him 2-3X, so 300-450. Tell him u mean business, and if he has AK, more chips for u.

i like a check raise here because somebody surely caught a piece of that board and will bet it.

That's a fairly co-ordinated board and it seems like they are all chasing straights and flushes to me, i'd be betting hard to protect my hand. No check-raise for me.
good luck

players always bet their draws. if you check and it's bet, the pot is being built before it gets back to you. you can stick in a much bigger bet because the pot has been built. this will make the draws pay more heavily.

Given that you have a king and a queen, it reduces the likely hood that somebody else hit a good hand here. Since it is a multiway pot, it is less likely someone will try to bluff. Given the draw-heavy board I think the best way to play this is to bet out initially. If someone else did get a piece of it, they might raise you and then you can push. If nobody got a piece of it other than a draw, you risk having it checked around and giving a free card. If someone has a draw, they might call you anyway. Betting out not only protects your hand, but maximizes the chances of getting all-in on the flop as well.

I agree you just cannot call here. the board is really nasty. a 10 or a J gives them the straight draw, but on the plus side you might get a caller with something like AK. Better to push and get a little then let them draw and loose a lot.

Push and hit your 4 outer.

PS: Against certain players, although not in a 20+2 and you shouldn't even bother thinking about it, I would simply fold.

i agree with greek that a free card is horrible. but i still like them putting money in the pot before they realize the strength of your hand. guess it's just the limit player in me.
