How big of a continuation bet do you put in on the flop if any, and how big of a turn bet do you place when the straight falls? I was planning on checking the turn through unless my straight hit. Is the turn fold reasonable?

Thanks,

JC

Why do you bet the turn if your going to fold to a small raise?

I call and re-evaluate the river. Maybe c/c river.

I bet the turn to charge someone with a single club instead of giving him a free look at the river. I posted this hand because I felt I played it very weak tight on the turn. I guess I didn't want to face a psb on the river and felt that I was likely up against a flush given how rare a check raise was from villain, but I could see this raise coming from a hand like K /images/graemlins/club.gifQx or QxJ /images/graemlins/club.gif. I guess the better question would be how would one react on the river 1)If a club falls and he bets 1/2 pot 2)a club doesn't fall and he bets 1/2 pot 3) no club and he bets full pot 4) no club and he checks to us

If he's a LAG with those numbers, he could just as well have two pair or a set. Or even one pair. Or even nothing at all.
