View Full Version : Gotta get away from this one... right? Flopped Top Set

The turn donker is a solid tag. 28/14/4.00 aggro. This must've been a terrible call given his line. But how do you fold a set in the heat of the moment? He reraised preflop too. AA and KK would've pushed on the flop from a TAG. That leaves only QQ right? Calling him down with a set seems too weak. I don't know...

How many make this call?

I am not laying this down. Ever.

Oh, and raise the flop properly.

I call this one.
Your probably against AQ or maybe even QJ. I just dont see anyone going all in with nothing but a straight draw against 2 players. with 9Ts. Especially with the betting going on on the turn and flop. Even If your wrong and they show the 9T, I dont think it happens often enough for you not to call this.

Folding this in limit is even more atrocious.

the min raise on the flop sucked. a fold on the turn would be the most terrible fold i have ever seen. i am positive that at least 99.9% of all players make this call. the call is an absolute no brainer.

I guess he was referring to the min-raises PF and on the flop.

There is no way I'm folding this - you are getting almost 6:1 odds - yes, he might have QQ, and then you can just cry because you didn't raise properly on the flop, but you could just as well be up against a AA, KK, flush draw, QJ, smaller set or a pure bluff.

I am not nearly good enough to fold this hand and the people who are good enough are probably way too tight.

raise PF to atleast 3.5, raise to atleast 3/4 pot on flop, and instacall this turn.
