Another hand which I always have trouble with. A/little garbage. No I wasn't going for the C/R on the turn. Was going to weakly calldown. Once she checked the turn I planned to check again on the river to induce a bluff thinking she would fold to any bet. I really didn't like the river card and it did give her the str8. So the free turn card hurt me. I felt I played it badly, but am I being results oriented.

Villian is sLA-A

I'd bet that flop or checkraise it.

my default is to c/r the flop against a lag in a small pot. If they're passive, just keep betting.

I bet the flop.

I bet the turn.

River:

I either bet/fold against a normal player.
I might check/call against a more aggressive player that will bluff 2nd pair or a busted draw.
