View Full Version : playing from the blinds???

sorry, this has probably been discussed to death on here, but i'm new and the search function here would bring up way too much stuff...

anyhow, can someone point me in the right direction to find threads on playing from the blinds?? both shorthanded or full table tough games AND easier, loose passive games.

i actually think there's a fair bit out there (and in books) on blind play in tough or shorthanded games (sklansky, king yao etc.).... but was wondering about small and big blind play in easier games??? miller is good on this, but looking for other stuff.... i think people don't realize that you'll be in terrible position in later rounds, especially shorthanded from the small blind.

any general assistance would be appreciated.. and like i said, i'm sure this has been done to death on here, but i'm very new. so thanks in advance.

Hi.

I'll be the nice guy, as noone will answer this.

The Search function will work, use major keywords:

blinds, defense
blinds, aggressive, weak
blinds, short (or short-handed) etc.

These guys will be more willing to help if:
A. you already searched
B. beginner questions are more kindly responded to in the forum
titled "Beginners"

Best of luck,

-ZEN

thanks to both of you for your responses!!!

i'm not a beginner, just new here... i did remember someone mentioning a name of a guy who did good work on here on blind play. just couldn't remember the name.

i love this site, but i find the search function unwieldy and clunky.. but you guys are right, i should have searched before i asked for assistance.

thanks again.
