i'm speechless really. that is the most bizarre play i think i've ever seen /images/graemlins/shocked.gif

bet the flop. you're not holding some weak A3 or something, you probably have the best hand and i'm not letting any flush draws or backdoor draws get infinite odds.

i can't really comment on your 3-bet because i'm just truly baffled. i have never played this way, so i'll wait for others i guess /images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I don't mind the 3-Bet. You likely have the best hand, but the play is truly bizarre. However, that doesn't necessarily mean bad. I think betting out is best though. By checking an unraised pot you risk giving free cards which is a no. Just lead this, it'll make it easier to play. After the three bet you played fine.

why didn't you just bet this flop?

I don't think check-raising is a good move here. A free card is very dangerous, and very likely, given the preflop action. CO could be raising a lot of hands, as she saw the flop for free. This could include any ace, two pair, or set, though I would have expected a bigger A to raise preflop.

In this case maybe the 3-bet isn't terrible.

My guess is that you were looking to c/r a late player to charge the rest of the field with two bets. The problem with this approach is that you don't know who will bet, if anybody. You are better off just betting straight out here.

I'd rather just lead, or fold the flop, but I prefer leading

Lead at the flop. Checkraising here sucks because you have absolutely no idea where the bet is going to come from behind you, and it risks a free card. Otherwise, the hand is fine.
