A p*k*r related company is paying homeless people in Seattle to advertise on their signs.

Is this disgustingly exploitative or generously helping out people in need?

Would anyone actually go to the website after seeing it advertised by a homeless guy?

Yes, this appears to be actually real.

I always thought this was a win-win situation for companies that would do this. 1. you are clothing the homeless with some awesome apparel (granted, it has huge logos on it everywhere), and 2. you would be getting the word out about your product! awesome!

Instead of a hot model in the shower for a soap commercial, lets show some hairy bum who hasnt showered in a month.

"Look how great this soap is, it even cleans a bum"

"Look how great online poker is, it created this bum"

Well, you know, 85% of all homeless rickshaw businesses fail within the first three months.
