Maybe its just me, but i thought after winning biggest wsop ever you' d see the champions face all over the place on tv or in magazines or in other tournies.

Maybe i am out of loop (which is entirely possible), but is he not cashing in on his new fame or taking advantage somehow?

Who knows, maybe in australia he's big but seems he's nowhere in spot light here...

Nope, I live in Australia, and haven't heard anything since the day-after stuff in newspapers

Yeah it sucks, I had high hopes for people here (read: fish) to start playing poker

Once you see his win replayed on ESPN 500 times...

Nobody knows who he is yet because the ME hasn't been shown on TV yet. He will start to pop up once the ME airs.

He's in Atlantic City today, playing the WPT event.

no, that was Varkoni

sometimes they even forget to announce that he's there - he was here today, gone tomorrow.

not neccessarily. doesnt he write a column in cardplayer..

and he is usually at most of these big tourney events and PPT things, although you'll rarely see him at final table.

Anyways, his visibility is still there somewhat

Last year ESPN didn't say a word about Greg until they aired the final WSOP ep. This year Hatchem was on the front page of ESPN.com and on Sportscenter after his win. He just hasn't been heard from much since then, but I'm not sure where we would expect to hear from him.

That goatee of his will probably be his best asset once the ME does air. It adds that extra bit of panache.
