would you comission?

I'd commission a set of films (trilogy maybe?) based on one of the Judge Dredd longer stories; either 'Cursed Earth' for the variety, or 'Apocalypse War' for the intensity.

Rodriguez, Nolan, Jackon, Raimi or Singer could direct.

No idea who'd be a good Dredd.

What book/comic book/film remake/TV Series/original idea would you want to see if you could choose absolutely anything?

Actually, Stallone was okay, I felt, as was the look of the film. It was just the script and heavy fiddling with the mythology of Dredd that I didn't like. And wiping out the fantastic characters of the Angel Gang in a briefish scene. (that's like starting a Batman film where he first meets the Joker, catches him and puts him away for the rest of the film in the first 5 minutes!) Oh and the line 'send in the clones!'

I think it'd need to be a new guy, as I'd want pure Dredd/Megacity 1 from scratch, not a follow up where the Angel Gang/Fergie etc have all been changed somewhat.

Watchmen series, based on the greatest comicbook/graphic novel ever. Probably 12 hours long or so, like Terry Gilliam wanted to do.

Rorschach is [censored] badass:

a long-ass series based on stephen king's dark tower.

spend more money and make it look more badass than the lord of the rings trilogy.

pretty obvious choice, but i have to pick it.

Yah, I'd do this out of the profits from my Dredd venture...

Judge Dredd is a good one. Since the real Dredd never shows his face it wouldn't have to be someone super famous, as long as the person had that strong jawline. Actually, a young Clint Eastwood would make for a great Dredd, and a perfect Gunslinger for the Dark Tower series.

I'd like to see a remake of the Westworld movie. Pretty much the same story but updated visuals and sound.
