Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

The CO is tight-aggressive (my notes say she readily raises oc's on the flop), the button is a fish.

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with J/images/graemlins/spade.gif, J/images/graemlins/club.gif.
3 folds, Hero raises, MP2 calls, 1 fold, CO calls, Button calls, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (12 SB) 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif, T/images/graemlins/club.gif, 6/images/graemlins/heart.gif (6 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, MP2 calls, CO raises, Button calls, SB folds, BB folds, Hero 3-bets, MP2 folds, CO caps, Button calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (12.50 BB) J/images/graemlins/heart.gif (3 players)
Hero bets, CO calls, Button raises, Hero calls, CO calls.

River: (18.50 BB) 4/images/graemlins/club.gif (3 players)
Hero checks, CO checks, Button bets, Hero calls, CO calls.

Final Pot: 21.50 BB

Now I think I should have just bet out on the river and called a raise. Thoughts? I get the skirt award for this, don't I... /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

The scare card on the turn and the fact that the fish bet out would probably slow me down. Just a little.

I don't see her checking anything she raised on the turn, and I think she usually has you beat here.

reread the action. You have the CO and Button confused.

Oops. A passive fish or a donk fish? I 3 bet the turn against the latter.

Button's hand is like 99% flush draw. I think you should've c/folded the river.

Gross. There's tons of hands button can have that was just a flop slowplay.

Putting in another raise anywhere isn't worth it though.

Button is described as a fish, which i take to mean LPP. I dont think he raises here with two pair. An underset maybe, and yer not supposed to fold a set for one bet yadda yadda, so I guess the play is alright. Raising more, as you said, is definitely dumb. I'm going to bed since I'm either misreading flop action or getting called Gross by good players lately.

Wow dude, both posts I've seen from you re: sets on the river tonight have been weird.

i don't get the turn bet after CO caps the flop. why not c/r or check call if Button raises?

I play it the same way. Putting in another raise on the turn would be foolish, wait and see if you fill up on the river. Folding anywhere is out of the question. Nice hand.

Good question. I simply bet out because:
1) I'm going to cry if it gets checked through.
2) I wouldn't mind the CO raising again so I can 3-bet.
3) I try to minimize trickery in my play when the pot is multiway and some of my opponents suck.

Good? Bad?

sure! there's a raise on the turn, a bet or raise on the river... but I'm not sure I'd take either of them. of your options, I'd likely 3-bet the turn if I was looking for more action, as you've got outs if you are indeed behind, but I don't see any reason to raise the river. Maybe lead the river...

I'd play it the same way. Your top set looks pretty, but you are behind often enough to check/call the river.

Co had a straight w/ KQ right. Looks like fishy button had a flush.

CO did not raise the turn b/c she feared flush. Calling the turn is okay ( I would have c/r the turn but I'm a bit lag), but I'm not happy w/ trips on this board at the river.

I don't mind your line at all.

What do you do if you hit the river? c/r? bet?
