Google search from IE's Address Bar

I had to reinstall Windows, when I did I lost my favorite Goggle searching shortcut. I used to type "? " in the address bar followed by whatever I wanted to search for, and Goggle would perform it's magic for me.

Does anyone know how to set this up again? It was a registry hack if I remember correctly, I didn't have to install an application to make this work.

Then use the following string:

www.google.com/search?q=%s (http://www.google.com/search?q=%s)

instead of the search engines that are listed.
