Within the last two weeks i watched the entirety of the first two seasons to prepare for for this. It was absolutely brilliant in my opinion. They had me at the Jim Cramer scene.

This was one of the funniest ADs ever. Hopefully the show catches on a little more on Monday nights so that it doesn't get cancelled on us -- though moving a show's timeslot is usually a good way to kill it.

The Susan Smith references were awesome...I can't think of another show that would have touched that with a ten foot pole.

Buster: "I slept in the car so that I wouldn't bother you with my snoring, and I left a tape of me snoring so that you wouldn't know I was gone"

And G.O.B.'s "You're right, it's better not knowing." When Michael told him that "something has come up" and they wouldn't be going to the cabin...

~o/ Here, have a dollar,
In fact no brotherman here, have two.
Two dollars means a snack for me,
but it means a big deal to you. /o~

Those were the days

Me too. I hope my season pass knows to record it on Mondays now. I suspect it does.

Monday night tv is on fire now.

I also got the DVD's from Wayabvpar about a month ago, to prepare for the new season. OMG, this show is brilliant. My fave quote from last night:

"I don't know, it's kinda boxy." Wow, I couldn't believe she said that after the Vol-Vo quote. Awesome.

I thought Ron Howard was a little off last night, I didn't enjoy him as much as usual.

I haven't laughed that hard in a while. Once again AD proves it is the smartest & funniest show on TV.

Lucille: How am I supposed to find someone willing to go into that musty old claptrap?

Michael: The cabin! Yes, th... well, that would be difficult, too.

I absolutely loved the episode, but I agree with this comment. All of a sudden Howard is making editorial comments in the narration, and I don't like it. "Gee, I wonder why she left him?" Um... thanks Ron.

Yeah, they way they intertwined themes (sons sleeping in cars, father-son bonding failure, incest) was awesome. Best line for me:

"Now's your chance to rub off on her!"

Awesome as always. Just saw that it only pulled in 4 million viewers while "How I met your mom" and that NBC show pulled in 11 million each. That is horrible.

Christ...that's pathetic. I guess most Americans get thrown off by AD because it doesn't have a laugh-track...this leaves them with no way of knowing what's supposed to be funny.

Moving it to Monday nights was not a good idea.
