I certainly am getting the correct price to call, but is that just wasting chips this early on?

I'd call here I think. You're right about trying to conserve those chips but you've got enough stack to try to catch it on the turn. I'd call here but fold to a 200+ bet on the turn I think. This may be terrible though.

You have to call this almost even if you don't get a dime after you make your flush. If he checks behind turn then leadout regardless of river and you most likely get free chips

Getting 3.5-1 here I definitely call. With a decent stack at this level I'm not worried too much about conserving chips here especially since I'm bound to get paid off a decent amount if I do hit my flush.
