Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 max, 8 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)
first hand at this table. I picked it because (duh) the pot sizes are large.

Preflop: Hero is CO with J/images/graemlins/club.gif, T/images/graemlins/club.gif. Hero posts a blind of $1.
UTG calls, 3 folds, Hero (poster) checks, Button raises, 2 folds, UTG calls, Hero calls.

probably shouldve raised here.

Flop: (7.50 SB) 6/images/graemlins/club.gif, 7/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 3/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks, Button bets, UTG calls, Hero calls.

I called with overcards and two backdoor draws.

Turn: (5.25 BB) 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks, Button checks.

my bd flush draw dies, but lo! a gutshot draight draw appears.

River: (5.25 BB) T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (3 players)
UTG bets, Hero raises, Button folds, UTG calls.

river card was good and bad for me. I've now got top pair, but the oesd just came in for anyone chasing it as well. I don't want button calling behind with a better ten, so I raise as protection against his overcall.

Final Pot: 9.25 BB

Good concept, but how many hands does button have with a T in it? Overall not bad, plus you have bluff value with the 4 straight on the board. But I don't htink calling here is very bad.

i think buttons play could absoultely containt JT, QT, KT, and possibly AT. I agree that this also works as a bluff raise in this spot.

blindpost: (cause grunching sucks... /images/graemlins/tongue.gif)

PREFLOP: yes..I like a raise here.

FLOP: You're getting 8:1 pot odds, but I'm not seeing 5 outs to call profitably. Your J and T together are 3 outs, and your BDflush 1.5 outs. Your BDstr8 worth 0.5 outs.....ok ok ok ok! So you've got FIVE OUTS!!!!

TURN: duh..

RIVER: I like the raise. I don't want overcallers here. If it's 3 bet, I'm leaning towards 'fold'.

This isn't a good spot for this play IMHO. Exactly what better hand are you hoping that the button will fold? You have him beat like 95% of the time here.

yup, I had no plans of calling a reraise here.
