No good read on Villian. I had a very solid image, stealing pots uncontested and showing down strong hands.

Hero bets t1350, Villian calls t1215 (All-In).

Final Pot: t5565

Results in white below:

He calls off 40% of his stack here with one card to come. I don't think your bet is bad, but it seems to me that you're worried about more than the flush draw...you're worried about the 7.

In a case like this, especially when the blinds limp in, if you decide on the flop that you're willing to go broke with your KK (or in your case, lose 50% of your stack), it's better to get as much in the middle on the flop or the turn.

Consider what happens if you allin the turn. He likely folds his flush draw, and you win the pot. If he does call, you're over 3:1 fav. He calls with his 7, and you're drawing to 2 outs. Or best of all, he calls with QJ putting you on a bluff, and he's drawing to 2 outs.

You don't necessarily need to allin turn, but the thing to keep in mind is -- if you're willing to go broke with the hand, go broke earlier rather than later to kill draws like this, especially in sit n gos.

Your PF raise was too little.

The only time you would minraise like this preflop with KK would be if you are on the button or in the blinds after being limped to. If you raise 450-600 to go in MP then this guy likely folds preflop. After the flop though, the size of your bets offer him inadequate odds to draw so no prob there.

I misread a little. Please tell me that you meant to type that you raised 150 and not just called. If you just called, was there a player behind u that was a maniac or something?

Yes, I'd push the turn. Why no pre-flop raise???

The short stacks had recently been pushing to try and steal. Also, I had raised 90% of the pots I had been in up till then, so I wanted to mix it up a little. Though, that is probably just a later rationalization for getting greedy.
