Campbells soup at hand.

As im sitting here eating my soup i started thinking. These things have a metal lid on them and when u take the lid off it still leaves a metal rim. I always thought u couldnt put metal into a mircowave. Can someone explain to me why this is ok to put in the microwave. Does the plastic cap on top stop the metal from doing anything?

I've looked at those things in the store and always end up putting them back....just seems like not enough soup....your thoughts?

They are pretty good when u pack a sandwhich in ur lunch. theres about as much as in one of those small cans.
