The first one's river call is not THAT horrible. Getting to the river was horrible though.

Hand 2 looks pretty standard for a $11 buyin, except that I'm surprised he wasn't allin on the turn.

Games are soft huh?

Please someone write a Bodog converter.... I can read anything.... except this in original form.

No reads, but most of these players are donks, some might be okay, but if they are I wouldn't know which ones, so lets assume they are all donks for now.

This one is more interesting, some people will hate my preflop play here before we even get going, and then there's the dodgy flop and odd turn.....

Same reads. They are probably not all donks, but I was playing as if they all were, so you should assume so too for now.

What's to hate preflop?

I don't think there's anything about this hand that is bad. In fact, it's the way I'd prolly play it, so if there is some criticisms, I would sure like to know.

I don't think open limping on the button is going to be popular.

Hand 2 PF is fine, I'm more curious about Hand 1.

The rest's all good. Have to love the overbets with the nuts.

Implied Odds in $11 w/ donks = $$$

I probably fold 1 p/f unless I really thought they were that bad. In which case I love the river push.

Stay away; this is my turf.

That said, had one preflop is horrible, IMHO, but I guess you subscribe to monstrous implied odds theory? Flop turn and river are all fine.

Hand 2, preflop is perfect (Donks don't think about what you could have, so open limping is fine). I lead 90 on the flop, and the rest depends strongly on his response to that.

Results in white.

<font color="white">Both bets were called.

The first guy had T 5 spades.

The second guy had A 7 spades.

The purpose of this post is really to show that there is no point trying to extract a few chips from donks on the river as they're likely to pay you far more than you can imagine.

Good post &amp; good point Lori, thanks. Sometimes I get all caught up in how to extract chips in situations like that. Its simple against the donks - just push and they will call.

First hand is very interesting. Risking a little to gain a lot.

Damn.

What buyins would you do this on? (anybody) Is there something special about bodog? Is it a site for only differently-abled ferrets?

Heh. I'm making people hate me, huh.

I didn't really know/remember where the differently-abled ferrets thing came from.

I like this post and have tried it successfully sincing receiving this advice. However, if this theory holds true, it is probably a good reason to not bluff all-in on the river... b/c you will get called!

i hate the pre-flop on the A8 hand. i might fold AJ here. it's early - let donks bust each other and chill.

on the 22 hand, i think limping the button is fine. i'd raise the flop though. you want to stack Ax, and you don't want to give freebies to a flush draw. start getting building a pot.

And it's not even close... do you see why? Don't mind me Lori, just wanted to respond to one of your posts like that. FWIW I open limp here all day.
