View Full Version : Combining last two table

I have a question.

We have a home game multi-table holdem tournament 2 to 3 time per week, 20 to 30 people, $50 to $100 buy in with one add on.

The last two table are combined by randomly assigning the open seat to players from table 3 that is being broken up.

If the new players coming to the final 2 tables are assigned to the blinds, they do not post or play intil the button moves past them

My concern is that if two players move into the two blinds the button floats over them twice, then they play for a full round of the table without blinds after the button passes them. To me this gives them an undue advantage, ie 8 hands without blinds, which could be a huge advantage if the blinds were high. Any thoughts about how to consider this at the table before I go on tilt when the answer is "That is just what the rules say"?

Thanks

Steve
