View Full Version : 109- Is 66 good enough to repush with?

The only reason I'm even considering repushing is because the villan has been making this raise about 1/2 hands out of the last 10...possibly even more then 1/2. While I have little FE I could very well be up against a hand like a PP lower then 66 or A/K and a kicker 6 or lower and I'm thinking there is still a small chance the villan will fold. Thoughts?

I appreciate the read, but I'd probably pass. Raising 1/3 his stack...hmmmmmm. Besides, you're clearinng the blinds with plenty of FE on all but big-stack. I'd still be looking to open-push something (66 perhaps /images/graemlins/wink.gif)

I call, knowing I am only a slight favorite to win the hand, since it is almost surely a coinflip.

This seems like a perfect place to SnG. Right? Right?

I like that idea Kyro.

You've got 5x BB. I think you have to shove this back. I don't SnG because BB overcalls.

I agree. Also, I think you do have a little FE preflop. And if you don't, I doubt you have much postflop.

Unless you are 100% sure that you will be able to steal on the next hand, you have to push this.

It's time to gamb00l. Jam your stack in the middle and hope you win the race.

I pull the trigger. You're dominated, like, never. You dominate him a substantial, but relatively small amount of the time. You're racing most of the time. The BB comes along fairly rarely. There's some nice dead money in there. You need something to happen. You have less than 5 bb's after this hand. Racing isn't the end of the world. With dwindling FE, and fast moving blinds that will wreck you soon (and that will be stolen often)this is a good spot to move. Plus it puts you in a better place to steal if you win or he folds (and I think this happens rarely, but way more than it should).
