$5+1 tournament at PartyPoker, down to four handed and I run into this hand. B/c of the idiotic (at least, I think) way Party does their hand histories, I don't know what the BB had, not that it matters, I suppose. Anyways, two questions. First, two players were eliminated on this hand - I finished third though. How is this handled? Second, should I have re-raised all in to try and get it heads up?

I'm just gonna cut and paste from the hand history, too tired to make it pretty... Oh, and does anyone know if Party will be returning to their old hand history style?

1 - When 2 or more players are elminated at the same time, their order is determined by stack size prior to the beginning of the hand. Thus, since you had a larger stack than the other guy, he finished 4th and you finished 3rd.

2- I would have raised all-in. Short-handed this is a great hand and well-worth playing heads up with the original raiser. No way, IMO, does BB call an all-in bet with a 4 in his hand (granted, this is results oriented advice, but still true). And, in case both Orig Raiser and BB have high cards, you don't want 3-4 overcards being held going into the flop.

The other option would be to (if you are interested in eliminating OR) check, check, check all the way to the end. This way, you and BB have a better chance of making it to final 3. I'd probably opt for #1, but given the fact that you called, I'd probably hold off and see if you can watch the board for free.
