3/5 NL at Tulalip casino (near Seattle). I open for $20 three off the button with 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif9/images/graemlins/club.gif and the cutoff calls. After calling, he has about $100 left and I cover.

The flop is J/images/graemlins/heart.gif3/images/graemlins/club.gif3/images/graemlins/diamond.gif. I bet $30 and he calls.

The turn is 3/images/graemlins/spade.gif. I check, he pushes and I fold.

Is this right /images/graemlins/confused.gif?

What was wrong with the stack sizes I gave? You really need to know the stack sizes of all the people who folded preflop or how much I cover him by? The information I gave (effective stack size of the two players who took the flop) is sufficient to analyze the hand.

You post was fine, your play was good. He has a J.

i think smaller pairs 44-88 are also in villain's hand range here. stacks were relatively small to begin with and on the turn i'd check call sometimes and push sometimes.

I really would like to know the stack size of you and your opponent on all streets.

I know a live 1/2 NL table with 100 buy-in plays much different than say a PP200NL table.

On a 1/2 table with deep stacks, I'm making it $12~16 to go, depending on if there is a stradle which is quite common.

Checking the turn is weak, I bet $60~75 here to show I'm not folding to a push, it keeps a hand from making a play on the fact that you might have AK-AQ and be making a continuation flop bet but giving up on the turn.

effective stacks on the turn was $70.

Definately getting it in the middle with stacks this shallow.

I don't know about you guys but my style requires some deep money, I'm folding and leaving myself with 25BBs.
