What do you think about pushing pre-flop with 7 BBs in this position?
My philosophy was that I was only going to be called by something that I am getting called with overs 75% of the time, I'm an underdog 12.5% and I'm ahead 12.5% so I opted to see the flop.

On the flop I bet to chase out draws and when he just called I put him either on a draw or maybe trapping w/ an 8 or J (only 5 left in deck). I chose to push on turn after his check.

WWJD?

Yeah, definite push preflop with 77 and 7x BB instead of limping. You need to use your FE and pick up a huge t150 a lot of the time here.

No matter what...you pushed into a stronger hand on the turn.

You MUST push PF with 77 here. I try to ask myself if i need the pot before I push. Lets say if you have 950 chips and get 77 here. Are you going to push? My Weak/Tight play style says no because you are risking way too much. But since you have 700 you must push here.

You won't be called 75% of the time or even half of the time. Since you have fold equity you must push. There are only 7 possible hands that are preflop favorites against you. PUSH

Two things:
1What is FE ?
2When I said I will get called by overs 75% of the time, I mean that WHEN I am called I will up against overs.

Yeah I didn't really take into accout the fact that everybody will most likely fold.
