View Full Version : Was this a fishy call pre flop?

Just joined the previous hand in the BB and so I have no reads. I have played with CO once before and he loves to berate fishy behaviour (when he loses). His comments below are typical. I don't feel I have anything to apologize for however. Do I?

Not a fishy call in my book. Who knows what the other 4 had?

Fishy bet on the flop, let the man set you in!!!

I call potraise with QJT9 every single time baby. No fishiness there.

Yes this guy is a real piece of work, he's in a flurry right now calling TheRempel a fish because hw semi-bluffed him. I love to watch this guy now.

Oh, we're talking about a gentlemen named Sir? Stack this guy every chance you get.

He never, ever, reraises the size of the pot, happily giving odds to most draws you might have, then proceeds to tell everybody what he has when you value bet / bluff the turn or river and complains about getting sucked out on for at least an hour.

I wonder about this. Every time he says what he has, he folds. He always says he has whatever the nuts was a moment before. The only time I see his hand is when someone calls him and it often turns out that his post flop pot bet is nothing more than top pair with draws to top 2 (like AJT8 on an A72 board). He then flames said caller for, "calling a pot bet with THAT?".

I wonder if he really has what he says he has and is merely trying to goad the re-raiser into showing/telling what he has.

Basically what happened is he saw me C/R a LAG on a Q23 flop and push the turn when a third diamond came. He thought I overplayed my AAdQdX since "flushes are no good in Omaha". The LAG had Kd Th 4h5d.

After that any sort of aggressive move I made got a genius comment from the peanut gallery.
