in a 1/2 blind structure i complete with any two suited if there are two limpers, but if hte bb is some kind of crazy aggro guy then i won't limp as often...

at a 1/3 structure like the 3/6 online games then you have to tighten up...

Why does it matter if the BB raises? the pot will still be offering you the same odds?

Any two suited even like J2?

yes, even J2...

if there is a high likelihood o the bb raising then its cuttin g down on your odds...there are times when you will be getting worse odds to call the raise then you were to complete the original bet...

An example would be? sorry i cant think of one. I always thought the odds were the same giving that no one will reraise and all call

Your POT odds are the same (assuming there isn't a LRR), but your implied odds are worse, from the perspective of completing the small blind. To put it another way, if you KNOW that the BB will raise, you would certainly tighted up in the small blind, because when the BB raises, you put in 1.5 SB (or triple your original intended contribution) to win only a double sized pot. Therefore, if there is a higher than normal likelyhood that the BB will raise after you complete, you should defend less.
