Hero has KK UTG, new to table...

Preflop:
Hero raises, MP coldcalls, SB (unknown) calls, BB (21/17 from datamining) calls...

Flop: 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif 7/images/graemlins/club.gif 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif (4 players, 8sb)
sb checks, bb bets, hero raises, mp folds, sb 3 bets, call, call...

Turn: Q/images/graemlins/club.gif (3 players, 8.5bb)
sb checks, bb bets, hero raises, sb waits and 3bets, bb folds, hero folds ???

comments on all streets appreciated...

Smells more like 86, but everyone's noses are different. I don't think he's checking a set on this board OOP and risking a free card.

I would call turn and c/c river with KK. Too many draws out there and SB played this hand very fishy.

I cap the flop. As far as folding I think I need a read to lay it down. I think it's close but against an unknown I'm reluctantly calling it down.

If I were Villain, I wouldn't be worried at all about a free card when an over falls. I'd be looking to take a line that got the most bets in (I'd be doing the same thing with 68).

Wow, that's strange. I really think you're beat here and very likely drawing dead. Given the way he played it, I think I'd find myself calling down just to satisfy my curiosity, but I I think folding is the right play.
