Bonus at Paradise Poker still good?

I read the faq for bonus whoring by Homer. It lists a 50% bonus up to 100$ at Paradise Poker if the GRANNY code is used. I was wondering if this bonus is still good. I just signed up and was emailed about using a FIRST25 code to get 25$.

If anyone could verify that the 50% promo still works, that would be great!

I've heard the GRANNY code no longer works, but at pokernews.com they mention you can use the bonus code "pokernews" and get the same bonus up to $100. Go to
http://www.pokernews.com/paradise-poker and from their click on "Bonus Info".
