Villain bets any flop/turn/river. This seems abnormally lame. This similar situation has happened probably a dozen times, and this is his standard blind "steal". I kept wanting to raise the turn.

This is standard against this type of opponent. With a stronger hand be prepared to do a lot of checkraising.
