I expect many of you would've played this differently, but did I play it poorly? I think I'm in love with the c/c flop c/r turn line when I flop something good. Is this a bad thing?

i woulda raised him big/all-in after the check on the flop

500 already in pot, which is 1/3 ur stack...

alternatively, raise to 500 on the flop after he bets instead of on the turn after you are vulnerable to 6x

i probably push most of the time on the flop after he bet, raise him big the rest of the time

check-raise all-in on the flop. You will be called by overcards, Ax, 4x, and any pair. Which is a good thing.

edit: Or pop it to 400 and lead another 400 on the turn, then push the river if you're called through.

I'm going to disagree with the other respondents in this thread, the pot is much to small to checkraise allin. You guys are too used to Party!!

I am leading this flop and hope I get raised so that I can push. When you check call the flop, obviously the turn is the worst card in the deck for you. I am never raising this turn. Just call, and maybe make a small bet on the river (like t150).

>1/3 of your stack is 'much too small?'

i agree that it may be better to raise/cr instead of push/cp, but i'm not sure if it is or not, and i don't want that 4 coming out to bite me...i'd rather add >1/3 to my stack and have 2k in the bubble (more if the donk calls) than risk that 4 and have to fold or lose my stack and be out

in a cash game, i'd try to extract as much value as possible by not giving him odds to call while also betting low enough that he will call...but in a sng, i'm taking the chips

Isn't it almost always wrong?

I'm just too greedy to like the flop c/r all-in line. When I flop a straight, I'm thinking double up.

I still kinda like my line, unless that pudthumper happens to be holding the last two fours, but I like Durron's line even more. Lead the flop, push to a raise, lead the turn on a flop call.
