I wasn't sure which of the many forums would be best to ask this question so I posted the detailed question on the Other Poker Games forum. Here is a link:

Hi Rick,

The best place to play is Boulder Station, which on the weekends has two 4-8 games with a half kill and 2-4 blinds, and frequently gets a 6-12 half kill going also. Boulder rakes 5% to $3 with a $1 drop for a bad beat of 4Jacks or better beaten.

The only other real alternative is the Shoe, which usually has a single 4-8 game going. IIRC the Shoe rakes 5% to $3.

do they still play it at sunset station? I think the game was 3-6-9.

in the 40-80 or 60-120 mix game at casino arizona, omaha can be called when it is your turn.

They play 4-8-12 and 15-30 high only Omaha at Harrah's New Orleans. They also have a 1-4-8-8 game that they play half holdm and half Omaha high only

Thanks. Do you know how many games typically go on weekdays/weekends and so on?

They have at least one 15-30 and one 4-8-12 every day. 1-4-8-8 half and half is probably the most popular and they have as many as 5 of those going any day of the week.

On weekends, probably starting around Thursday, they have 2 15-30 games, one a must move, and at most 2 4-8-12. Usually only one 4-8-12 game though. I've played in the 4-8-12 game but never the 15-30. A lot of action in all of those games

I heard the "Shoe" had gone down but didn't know another venue stepped in. Years ago I played in the game with the almost sleeping old guy who would wake up just to look at his hand. He was my all time favorite Las Vegas rock /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Rick,

If you are traveling to the Chicago area they play limit Omaha High at the Rockford Charitable Games. They usually have a half hold'em/half omaha high ranging in limits from $2 to $10. The biggest game they have is one $10-$20 limit hold'em and they run multitable and single table no-limit tournaments. You'll find your buddy Rounder there. I've seen him every time at the Arlington Hts. location. Here's a link to their web site with information:
