There are a lot of piercings I don't like one bit (eyebrows, and especially lips. Ugh. I don't think I could ever kiss someone with a lip ring.), but for some reason, bellybutton rings look cute and feminie (on a cute and feminine women, of course).

Yeah I think it's mostly a girl thing. Most of the guys I know couldn't give a [censored] less. I don't overly dislike it but if I had to choose I'd say no belly button ring but it doesn't bug me or anything. I agree girls all think it's somehow sexy. I don't get it.

I don't. I don't like any piercings. But the pierced bellybutton is strongly in the running for least ugly, stupid, or deforming places to have pierced, including the ear lobes. Rather just see the body unmarred, though, head to toe. I fit shaved eyebrows into this category too.

The body is more than good enough as it is. If it's not, hit the gym and control the diet. No camouflage, violation, or distraction is a substitute for just looking your best.
