Why would UTG min raise more than half his stack off? He WANTS to be all in.

I disagree that he wants to be called. There's truly only one hand that "wants to be called" at this stage of the game. BUT...he has overcommitted himself (as many a poor bubble'r do). Because he isn't likely to fold, you fold. "Restealing" is a better word for "Defending", as we do it with the read, and more importantly the FE to get him to lay it down. Give him 2k chips, and you another 500 or so, and this might deserve more consideration.

Edit: /images/graemlins/blush.gif Didn't even dawn on me that you only had 5bb's yourself (of in "blind defending land" - something I've been flirting w/ myself more lately). SnG isn't horrible. I still might fold before I'd push.

If it's a tight passive table, I'd fold and push any two whenever I got the chance afterwards.

If it's not, then I would feel I needed this here pot. Since we don't have a lot of FE preflop, a stop n go I think is the best play. Call and fire on flop (unless an Ace falls, then a checkraise is better).

Well, pushing is clearly wrong, but against a typical minraising donk in a 22 you can stop and go.

In a 109, I would fold.
