I bought about 20 DVDs in China when I was on business for about $.80 each.. decent bargain... There was only one that was bad and one that was shot from within the theatre (Minority Report)

Buy them off of Columbia House. If you go to www.dvdtalk.com (http://www.dvdtalk.com) (not affiliated with me) and into the DVD club section you'll find the best codes. This should bring your average cost per dvd down to like $7 or $8. This is really only for the true DVD fan who actually wants the real DVD/box. If you just want the movie, listen to the above posters.

I got a Sony burner for $60 after rebates from Best Buy. They have sales on 25 blank DVDs for $10 all the time. The only problem is that some movies are too big for normal DVDs so you'd need a dual layer DVD which are kind of expensive or you have to compress the DVD when you burn it - which results in a loss of quality.

I use DVDShrink and it usually requires compression to fit on 4.7s. Even with the compression the loss of quality is virtually non-existant.

hey deepdiscountdvd.com is USUALLY the best place, but it doesn't hurt to check:
www.bargainflix.com (http://www.bargainflix.com) which is a search engine of a bunch of dvd stores. It also has coupons for sites and front page shows special offers that are running.
