AA, AA, KK, QQ all lost on the river. (except one AA which got out flopped by 9J) I got pissed for about 5 seconds. I am now eerily (sp?) calm. I'm call with it, that's variance ya know?

I know I would be pissed if I knew they flipped the DOOM SWITCH(tm) on me.

It's ALOT easier to deal with at the start of a tourney, when you build a stack then get it all in with KK agaisnt the other big stack who called off all his chips with A2. An A comes on the river and then you know the DOOM switch has been flipped.

I go 0 for 8 almost every single time I play. In fact this month I have had an 0-8 streak every single day. Maybe I just suck. /images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I lost 5 overpair hands in a set of 8...but then i went 7/8 ITM...the moral of this story...variance ([censored]) happens

That was me yesterday. Had 8 tourneys out of 40 finish with me having the lead until the river. I mean come on, flip the doom switch on the flop, maybe the turn, but NOT THE RIVER.

A very successful evening, I only dropped $66 after having AA cracked 3 times, KK cracked 3 times, QQ hurt 4 times. I know this is obvious, but I think the real test of a poker player is what they do when they are running cold, limiting their losses, not going on tilt, not bitching and moaning about every little beat. (failed that one /images/graemlins/smile.gif )
