Hands like this come up quite a bit when the stacks are flat and the blinds are high. You know the drill.

How often are you defending here, and what range are you doing it with?

If he's solid, as in - he'll raise with a lot of hands in that situation and fold to a big bet without a premium hand - then you have to push it!!!

Your hand is above average and might even suck out if he calls. If he's the kind of player Im thinking of, he's folding most of the time.

Your stack isnt exactly huge and youre going to have to take a chance at some point. This point looks ok to me.

Yeah, I was on the fence here. In the past, I would have pushed here without hesitation, but lately I have been trying play these spots with a bit more finesse, if you will. Not sure if it's had much effect, but it seems to have helped my ITM numbers over the past 100 games.

FWIW- Villain plays all the way up to the step 5s.

This push is quite automatic, IMHO. I push medium aces, strong kings, pairs, that kind of stuff.

Good to know. I think I need to stop bouncing between buy-ins, because I think in a 22, this would most likely be a fold.

Not unless by "fieryjustice" you mean "some guy named strawman."
