Villian is playing extremely well. I think he is 2+2 just from his playing, not from any other evidence. Call here?

No, 1600 chips should give you some FE. I'd prefer pushing with 32o UTG over calling here.

I am certain I am (barely) ahead of his range.

No, because if he is playing *extremely* well, you're getting a couple of folds coming up. Also, you miss out on the times the other two idiots call with A7o.

It is possible, but you have no way of winning chips in this hand without a showdown. Openpushing gives you a chance to do that.

put your push-bot hat on for a second. we don't bubble push because we expect to be slight favorites - HOPING to get called. we push to pick up blinds...with either a condition being present that greatly reduces the chance of a call, or with a range of hands that have a chance of holding up.

you are SB here. you open the next pot...perhaps the next, or the next, or the next. you still have a tremendous amount of FE over the two mid-stacks.

i understand with your read on villian, he's likely pushing "any 2 here". still no justification IMO to call him with a sub-par (at best...AT par) hand. put you in BB w/ one less BB, maybe.

if i had to find an angle to side with you here, it would be that big-stack will be your SB/BB from your UTG/CO. life after this hand WOULD be made easier if the two mid-stacks were sitting together on your left.

ps. if it makes you feel any better, i have a hand i'll share with you. calling a "known solid players must push" with a hand i never would have considered doing so with otherwise. remind me to dig it out.

Edit: one to many "...or the next"s /images/graemlins/blush.gif

Hehe playing extremely well, dunno about that Durron but thanks. /images/graemlins/blush.gif

Big stack, huge blinds against people who don't like 4th is a great position to be in.

Even though I was pushing about top 80% I don't think you can really call me here because of the small stack but I guess its just an annoying situation to be in.

I ran in thru SNGPT and it's saying you can only call top 10% of hands even when I'm pushing any 2 /images/graemlins/confused.gif

It's hard to defend against a maniac bigstack coming 3rd out of 4th, all you can really do is hope the shorty busts out before you get blinded away.

I thought I was in 3rd when I mentioned this hand to you at the table but the other guy had just doubled up like the hand before.

lol whoops /images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Still a fold though, you just need something stronger than Q8 to call, unless you knew that you had me dominated.
